At Bark and Bliss, every groom starts with a warm welcome, a gentle assessment and health check to understand your dog’s individual needs.

We begin with a tailored shampoo, chosen specifically for your dog’s coat and skin condition to ensure a soothing, nourishing cleanse.

Your dog is then dried using either a force dryer or a gentle fluff dryer, depending on their comfort level and coat type.

Once dry, the coat is thoroughly brushed out using specific tools to remove tangles, loose fur, stimulate the skin, and leave the coat silky and smooth.

We perform ear cleaning to maintain hygiene and comfort, followed by a nail clip to ensure healthy paw care.

Paw pads and hygiene areas are shaved for cleanliness, helping your dog feel fresh and tidy.

A rich paw and nose balm is applied to moisturise and protect sensitive areas.

We finish with a luxury long-lasting fragrance to leave your dog smelling as good as they look.

Your dog’s haircut will be styled to your personal preference or to breed standard — we’ll discuss your desired look in detail to ensure they leave looking exactly how you envisioned.

TEETH CLEANING PROCESS

Our ultrasonic teeth cleaning service uses the EmmiPet 2.0 system — a gentle, effective, and completely silent method to combat plaque, tartar, and bad breath without any noise or vibration.

The process begins with an initial consultation and assessment priced at £75, which includes a full oral health check, a deep ultrasonic clean, and a personalised dental care plan tailored to your dog’s needs.

This first session typically lasts 1 hour, depending on your dog’s comfort and current oral condition.

Following your initial visit, we’ll advise you on the number of follow-up sessions needed to achieve optimal results, if any.

To maintain oral hygiene and prevent the return of plaque or tartar, we recommend maintenance sessions no more than every 12 weeks — helping to avoid costly vet dental procedures in the future.

EmmiPet is completely non-invasive, stress-free, and ideal for nervous or elderly dogs, offering a calm and relaxing experience.

We need easy access to your property, a large safe and legal parking area within 20m of your home to plug in our van to your power. We can't normally groom outside flats or similar.
